I just acquired some fingering weight hemp yarn and am thinking about stranding it with some of the cotton yarn in my stash to knit inserts as a stash buster. As I'm fairly new to cloth, I'd like to get an idea of what the typical sizes are for insert. Hello everyone! I’m new to cloth pads. I crocheted some washcloths with Sugar n’Cream cotton yarn and was thinking about their absorbency. Do you guys thing that I could crochet a core for a pad? Would it not be as effective as Terry cloth? Could I use it along with other core materials or is it all together unnecessary?
